Well here it finally is, my very own blog. It only took, oh, forever to get this site started. In any case you can look forward to my musings about a variety of topics. Expect interesting tidbits about my varied (and never ending) hobbies: the culinary arts, flying, musical composition and performance, golf, and whatever the hobby du jour may be. You should also enjoy my elucidations concerning my professional pursuits: the Internet, web 2.0, dot-coms, venture capital, start ups, entrepreneurship and the like. I’ll also get downright geeky on you by diving deeper into some of these endeavors: software programming, linux, voip, hardware, storage, clustering, databases, ajax, php, ruby on rails, shell scripting, open source developments, embedded systems, and other fun stuff. If you can stay awake through all that, then you’ll no doubt enjoy my cogitations on cosmology, special relativity, quantum mechanics, the soon-to-be-unveiled “Stoner Paradox” (hint: has to do with special relativity’s time dilation and high speed space travel - exciting :)), and much much more. And I’m sure to piss a lot of people off with my irreverent pontifications on politics, religion, philosophy, the state of humanity and the universe. And finally I’ll write some rants about things that piss me off (exclusive of the previous few items, that is). I’ll make some impertinent comments on linguistics (or lack of its use), urban sprawl, idiocy, inanity, and other morsels. It’s quite a lot to write about, so stay tuned while I hopefully prevent any deep vein thromboses or carpal tunnel syndrome and get cracking!
